LEARN MORE ABOUT OUR GENERAL MANAGER, OCTAVIO

Octavio stumbled onto his passion for the service industry quite by accident. He started as a dishwasher for a nationwide corporate brewery and restaurant. Within four months he had moved to work in the front of the house, and was promoted to management a year later. It was in this first front of house setting that he discovered the world of craft beer and spirits, and he made the decision that this was what he wanted to do.

It started as a passion for craft beer, but through his client and customer relations he began to come across whiskey more and more. He soaked up all of the knowledge that he could, eventually reaching the point that he was spending his spare time learning more about whiskey than beer.

Around this time Octavio made the decision to leave his corporate position. Fate intervened on behalf of The Whisk(e)y and he was hired as a bartender. His professionalism, bartending skills, and impressive knowledge of whiskey quickly propelled him to the position of General Manager.
